Real Oviedo forward Alfredo Ortuño appeared before the Press this morning, after the team trained behind closed doors at El Requexón.

The striker began by analysing a situation which "I have experienced before, and it's unpleasant for everybody. What we have to do now is help the Coach as much as we can so that we can move forward together. That's what we all want." Asked about differences compared to the previous Head Coach, Ortuño highlighted that "all coaches are different. They ask the players and team for different things. I hope that the minor detailscan change, because they are what is making the difference, and that we can start to win matches."

Asked what the squad is working on, he said that it was "particularly on psychological matters. We have to keep our heads up and believe in ourselves, because he knows us and believes in us. He believes in the squad's ability."

Asked for his opinion on the opportunity which has been given to Rozada, Ortuño said that "nobody is gifted anything in professional football, and if he's been given the opportunity then there is a reason for it."

With respect to the fans' anger on Sunday at the Tartiere, the striker explained that "I don't think it was just towards the Coach, but towards the club in general, the squad... the team's situation is not because of just one man. All of us have our share of the blame."

Regarding Extremadura, Ortuño didn't want to give anything away. "I'm not going to tell you how we are going to play, but the opponent will see it. My spell at Extremadura was very good and I'm very grateful to Manuel Mosquera. I learned a lot from him. He is one of the most positive-thinking people I've met during my career. He got me excited for football again.

Finally, asked whether one convincing victory would change everything, Ortuño said that "I don't think that's how it works. I said it at the start of the season. I don't believe in convincing victories in this division. It's about runs of form, both bad and good. It's about try to minimise the bad runs and maximise the good ones."
