TOUR
Enjoy yourself and learn a lot on a tour of the different parts of the Carlos Tartiere stadium:
MUSEUM. Soak up more than nine decades of the history of our club. Visitors to the Real Oviedo Museum will learn about the origins of football in the city of Oviedo, as well as two of the most emblematic teams in the city during the early decades of the 20th Century. The union of these two teams, Stadium and Deportivo, led to the foundation of Real Oviedo in 1926. A multitude of images illustrate the more-than-ninety years of our club's existence; the golden periods, the eras of success, and the tough years of battling for survival. Stickers, albums, season tickets, match tickets and other objects ranging from the 1920s to the present day illustrate the next part of the museum tour. A special section of the museum is occupied by the many books published about Real Oviedo between 1940 and the present day. Another area serves as a tribute to the 16 Real Oviedo players to have represented the Spanish national team while at the club. The trophy room offers a view of more than 100 of the cups conquered by Stadium, Deportivo and Real Oviedo, both in official competitions and in friendly tournaments.MIXED ZONE AND PRESS ROOM. Become familiar with the Mixed Zone, where the media interview players after matches, and pay a visit to the Press Room, which is the area of the stadium where new signings are presented, and coaches share their thoughts after each match.
VIP BOX AND THE VIP LOUNGE. These are the places of honour where the directors of both clubs can be found during matches, as well as the authorities who attend the fixtures.
CHANGING ROOMS. Preparations, tactics, nerves, celebrations... All of these experiences share the same backdrop: the changing room.
FIELD OF PLAY. Just as it is for the players before kick-off, the next stop after leaving the changing rooms is the pitch. Those final metres before stepping through the tunnel out onto the field of play conjure up so many emotions. It is a feeling which you are going to be able to experience for yourself; an emotion which you will live just like our players.
