CLUB PRESIDENT

Jorge Menéndez Vallina

He became President of Real Oviedo at the Annual General Meeting held on 26 December 2013.  Born on 26 June 1970 in Oviedo, he graduated from the Higher Technical School of Mining Engineers in Oviedo and earned the “Sebastián Sáez de Santamaría” special award at the end of his course. He then gained a Master’s degree in Business Management from EMLyon Business School.  He has been a Director for a variety of multinational companies, President and Partner in industrial companies (Engineering and Water Treatment), Factory Manager at Saint Gobain Incusa, and both Commercial Director and Director of International Business Development at SODES.  He is currently the Director of Business Development for Grupo Daorje.

VICE PRESIDENT

Manuel Paredes González

He took up the post of Vice President of Real Oviedo at the Annual General Meeting held on 26 December 2013. Born on 26 October 1957, he graduated in Law from the University of Oviedo and has a Master’s in Sports Law.  He has had his own office for more than 25 years and was Vice President of the Asturian Handball Federation, as well as President of the Competition Committee and legal adviser for the same association.  Upon arrival at Real Oviedo, he resigned from his post as President of the Asturian Committee on Sporting Discipline.  He is currently a member of the Spanish Association of Sporting Law.

DIRECTOR

Fernando Corral Mestas

He has been a member of the Board of Directors at Real Oviedo since the Annual General Meeting held on 26 December 2013.  Born on 4 February 1973 in Oviedo, he graduated in both Industrial Technical Engineering and Tourism at the University of Oviedo.  He received a master’s degree in Tourism Enterprise Management from the ESADE international academic institution in Barcelona.  He is currently a Director of the Fruela and Munia hotels in Oviedo, as well as President of the Hotel Association of Asturias and an advisor for the Promotion of Tourism in the Principality of Asturias.

RESPONSIBLE FOR INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS

César Martín Villar

He joined the Board of Directors at Real Oviedo on 20 August 2015.  César Martín was born in Oviedo and is currently 38 years old.  He was a full senior Spanish international, and Real Oviedo player from 1993 to 1999. His return to the club strengthened the club's organizational structure, and he has the task of boosting and promoting relations with business organisations, as well as clubs and other organisations in which Real Oviedo share the new setting they find themselves, following their return to LaLiga.
