In addition to the point earnt at the Estadio de Gran Canaria this weekend, the Real Oviedo - Las Palmas match also allowed for an important landmark
for Real Oviedo, and especially for our player, Diegui Johannesson. The Asturian full back reached the milestone of 100 competitive matches in the Real Oviedo first team this weekend.

The defender, who joined the club’s youth team during the 2011/12 season, has played a total of 81 matches in the Segunda División, 11 in the Segunda B, 5 in the Copa del Rey, and 2 in play-off fixtures.

The Asturian, who is currently the club’s longest-serving player, has now also become one of the players in the current first-team squad to have played most games for Los Azules.
