Real Oviedo have reached an agreement to sign winger Omar Ramos until June 2020, with the option of a further season based on the completion of objectives.
The 30-year-old player was born on 26th January 1988 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. He came through the youth ranks at Tenerife, before going on to represent Lleida, Almería, Huesca, Real Valladolid and Leganés. He played for the latter in the Liga Santander last season. The winger has vast experience in professional football. He played a key role in Leganés’ promotion to the Primera División, playing 34 games and scoring 5 goals. He also represented Real Valladolid in the top flight during the 2012/13 season.
Omar Ramos main strengths as a winger are his quality, pace, skill with the ball and crossing ability, as well as possessing a fine strike from set pieces.
Having passed medical tests at the Clínica Asturias this morning, the player will join training this afternoon, working under the orders of Juan Antonio Anquela.
