Real Oviedo returned to the Tartiere today in need of a victory.  They were up against a good opponent, but Javi Rozada had virtually his full squad back available.  Nobody was absent, but Christian, Sangalli and Tejera came Bback into the starting eleven, while Saúl Berjón returned to the bench.
Neither side created clear chances during the first half, but HuescaN dominated.  Ortuño had the best chance just four minutes into the encounter, with a strike which the Huesca keeper tipped around the post for a corner.  Lunin also made a save around the half-hour mark, but there were very few further chances, in a half where the play and possession were both dominated by Michel's side.
Real Oviedo emerged more strongly for the second half and created more danger.  Sangalli met a cross at the front post and his effort went just wide.  Lunin then made a good save from a corner, before Huesca converted the opening goal from the rebound.  Eugeni was the scorer of a goal which was eventually awarded after a VAR check.  The Tartiere came to life, and Rozada turned to his bench, bringing on Saúl, Ibra and Omar; all attacking moves.  From a basis of persistence and belief, and despite not having too
much clarity in the play or in the chances, Ibra finally found a goal in the 97th minute.  The Tartiere exploded and the striker celebrated furiously.  Real Oviedo were left with a point for hard work and faith at the Carlos Tartiere.
