Real Oviedo midfielder Sergio Tejera appeared in the Press Room this morning, after the team had trained behind closed doors.
The captain began by evaluating the week's work and the situation going into next weekend's fixture at Montilivi, saying "we are working in the knowledge that we are in a difficult situation and aware that the Girona match is very important.  The team knows what it has to improve on, and we are going there with ambition, chasing the three points.  We are calm, doing what the Coach asks of us, and the three points will eventually come."
Regarding the Catalan side, Tejera commented that "we are approaching the game professionally.  They only came down this season, but we go there confident of a positive result."  In addition, discussing Stuani, the midfielder highlighted that "he's having a great season.  We know what he can do, but if we are focused then we can counteract his threat.
Asked how the squad is coping with the team's current position, the Catalan admitted that "we are going into a difficult year, but we will get through it with hard work.  We have to work each day to the max.  We have to get out of this situation, and I hope it strengthens us as a team.  Poor form makes you mature."
Finally, with regard to the keys to achieving an improvement which can be translated into a good run of form and climbing up the table, Tejera said that "defensively we are doing a good job, but conceding is punishing us. We have to improve on the transitions in play, be able to play the final ball and create chances."  Ahead of a possible change in formation, Tejera said that "what matters is what the Coach believes is right for each match.  We have the players to use several formations, and if the Coach decides to change it then great."
