Real Oviedo full back, José María Angresola, “Mossa”, appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón following today’s training match.

Ahead of the trip to Alcorcón, the left back said that, “we are going to a difficult ground. They’re strong at home. It’s true that we are also strong away from home though, and we have to show that we are competitive.”

With respect to what he thinks the team needs to do to get a victory at Santo Domingo, Mossa highlighted that “we have to have the confidence to go into the match with assurance and compete. Any team can beat any other and we will have to suffer and run a lot in order to get a positive result.”

Asked about the aspects the team needs to improve on, the defender commented that, “we have to improve our defensive and attacking solidity, which is all about work. We need to push on. We can’t stop doing the things that we’ve developed well. We need to stay calm; we’re not that bad. We have to believe in our work. It’s a team game. The individual performances depend on the team, and when everything goes well we look like good players. It’s all about working hard.”

Talking about the different options which Juan Antonio Anquela is trying out at right back, Mossa said that, “the Coach works with what he’s got. We trust in his work and we are sure that whoever plays will do well.”

Finally, regarding his preferences when it comes to winning, the full back stated that, “I prefer to win at home, but the important thing is to get points. It’s time to improve at home and keep going as we are away from the Tartiere. The games have been different away from home and we always attack more at home,” he concluded.
