Real Oviedo defender, Oswaldo Alanís, was involved with the Mexican national team, playing a total of 87 minutes during the match against the USA.
On 30th August, Mexican National Team Coach, Ricardo Ferretti, announced his squad for the matches against Uruguay and the USA, calling upon our defender, Oswaldo Alanís. The centre back joined the squad for the two matches and was chosen as a starter for the match against the USA.
Oswaldo Alanís played 87 minutes with ‘El Tri’, who fell to 1-0 defeat against the Americans. The Oviedista set off on his return journey to Asturias after the match. He is expected to arrive early tomorrow (Thursday), ready to resume work under Juan Antonio Anquela.
