The Carlos Tartiere pitch was badly damaged following the heavily rain-affected match against Osasuna a few weeks ago.
During the previous match against Cultural Leonesa, the area in front of the Fondo Sur (South Stand) was clearly particularly badly-damaged. As such, and making the most of the Winter Break and the fact that the next two Real Oviedo matches are away from home, workers have begun to lift the damaged area and will replace this part of the pitch in the coming days.
