Real Oviedo winger, Saúl Berjón, appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón today.

The Asturian believes that “the week has been different after Sunday’s victory. We played well and got the three points. We have to think about this Sunday now.”

Speaking about the importance of winning at the Carlos Tartiere, the ‘Carbayón’ captain stated that, “we’ve only just started; it’s a very long season. We have to get the win at home. We want to give our home fans a win and we hope to do so this Sunday.”

Regarding the next opponent, Elche, Saúl argued that, “it will be a very difficult game. There’s no point thinking that they’ve just come up from the Segunda B. We have to compete and be better than them.”

Asked about the different options available to the Coach within the squad, the ‘Carbayón’ highlighted that “we have a small, but good, squad. Whoever plays will do well. The coaching staff and sporting directors did a great job putting the squad together.”

Finally, regarding his preferences in terms of fitting into a formation, Berjón said that, “I adapt to anything. The team adapts to each match, and it’s very positive,” he concluded.
