The Real Oviedo Foundation, in collaboration with the Universidad del Fútbol and Grupo Pachuca, recently hosted a new edition of Tour & Stage, an initiative which allowed a group of young people to enjoy a unique experience in Asturias, with Los Carbayones at the epicentre of learning, values and football.
During their stay, participants enjoyed a packed schedule of sports and cultural activities. One of their most memorable moments was the opportunity to watch the first team train at El Requexón, where they were able to see up close the hard work and demands of professional football under Veljko Paunovic and his coaching staff.
The programme finished off with visits to iconic sites in the Principality, such as the Mining Museum, the Fernando Alonso Museum and a guided tour of the city of Oviedo, as well as an authentic Asturian adventure on the River Sella, an experience that combined nature, sport and camaraderie.
This type of initiative reflects Real Oviedo and its Foundation's commitment for continued growth as a club and as a driving force behind opportunities that promote the personal and footballing development of young people from different places, always closely following the values that define us.
Their days were filled with excitement, learning and camaraderie, days which the boys will undoubtedly never forget.
