Cristina Isabel Sánchez Auñón was born on 23rd March 1989 in Madrid, and has now signed for Real Oviedo Femenino on a deal running until June 2026.
She trained in the youth ranks of Atlético Madrid, where she took her first steps as a footballer. Auñón joined Rayo Vallecano at the age of 18 and, in the 2021/22 season, she joined Deportivo Alavés. Last season, the Madrid-born full-back played for NWS Spirit FC, a team in Australia's National Premier League.
