This thrashing was achieved by Real Oviedo in a match played at the Riazor stadium in Coruña, corresponding to the Galicia-Asturias Superregional Championship, a competition that had begun the previous season, replacing the Asturias Regional Championship.

The coach of Real Oviedo, José María Peña, lined up the following eleven players for that match: Florenza, Calichi, Pena, Sirio, Soladrero, Chus, Casuco, Herrerita, Lángara, Felipe, Emilín.
