The Chinese New Year was celebrated this weekend in Lugones, and Real Oviedo was represented; actively participating in the acts organised to mark the festivities.
On Sunday afternoon, a group representing Real Oviedo joined together with hundreds of people to welcome the Chinese New Year. The group was headed by Real Oviedo Vice President, Manolo Paredes, who was joined by the Head of Institutional Relations, César Martín, Social Affairs Coordinator, Miguel Sanz, and first-team player, Aarón Ñíguez. In addition to donating items for a raffle, Real Oviedo also presented official club shirts from the current season to the Commercial and Economic Councillor of the Chinese Embassy in Spain, the President of the Association of Chinese People in Spain, and the Mayor of Siero.
With this act, the club maintains its close relationship with the Asian nation, where the club has a huge number of followers. China is the country with the second-highest number of Real Oviedo shareholders.
