The Real Oviedo once again demonstrated this Christmas its strong commitment to social work and to the most vulnerable groups in the city. The blue Club, through its Foundation, made a new visit to the Cocina Económica de Oviedo to carry out the traditional food donation and actively collaborate in the service to its users, continuing an initiative already established in recent years.
The institutional representation of Real Oviedo was led by the vice president Manolo Paredes, the counselor Fernando Corral, and the head of institutional relations and director of the Real Oviedo Foundation, César Martín, Carlos Muñoz and Bea Méndez. All of them participated directly in the event, helping with the food distribution and spending time with the users and volunteers of this Public Utility Charity Association.
The donation made is part of the club's solidarity actions during these special dates and follows the line of the one carried out last season, when Real Oviedo already showed its support for the Cocina Económica with a similar visit. A gesture that highlights the importance the carbayón entity places on social responsibility and the need to support those who need it most.
Real Oviedo especially values the tireless work carried out by the Cocina Económica de Oviedo throughout the year and emphasizes that these types of initiatives, although symbolic, aim to contribute to improving the reality of many people and to reinforce the values of solidarity and commitment that are part of the Club's DNA.
