Real Oviedo paid tribute to Iván Palacios Llaneza, a beloved colleague and a key figure in the growth and development of the Real Oviedo Foundation, in an emotional event held at Fundoma. Family, friends, and colleagues from the Club's Foundation and International areas gathered to remember his career, commitment, and the mark he left on the blue entity.

Iván was a key figure in the Real Oviedo project through his work at the Foundation, where he played a decisive role in the consolidation and expansion of numerous initiatives, always with closeness, dedication, and commitment to the Club's values.

Additionally, his connection to youth football was evident during his time as coach of Real Oviedo Vetusta, where he conveyed the identity, effort, and values that represent the blue team both on and off the field.

During the event, a memorial match was held, a special game in memory of Iván and all that he meant to those who had the opportunity to share their journey with him. The occasion served as a tribute to a figure who remains present in the memory of all Club members.

As part of the tribute, two commemorative jerseys were presented to the family in memory of Iván, a gesture filled with symbolism and affection from all his colleagues.

The event also included the presence of institutional representatives from Real Oviedo, including Manolo Paredes, the Club's vice president; César Martín, executive vice president; and Carlos Muñoz Cobo, the entity's ambassador, who wanted to accompany Iván's family and close circle on this special day.

Real Oviedo intends for this tribute to continue and become an annual event. Thus, the memorial in memory of Iván Palacios Llaneza will remain as a way to keep his legacy alive and annually recognize the importance of his contribution to the Club's growth.
