The Carlos Tartiere this morning hosted the visit of the President of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, who is currently spending a few days in Asturias on an institutional trip.

Luis Rubiales was accompanied by the President of the Asturian Federation, Maximino Martínez, on his trip to Oviedo to meet the club’s directors. They visited the stadium before taking part in an exchange of shirts on the
pitch. The President of the Spanish Federation then headed to the VIP area to meet with representatives of Real Oviedo, headed by Jorge Menéndez Vallina, together with the Board of Directors and the Head of Institutional
Relations, César Martín. The group enjoyed a relaxed chat, with Rubiales wishing ‘Los Carbayones’ all the best for the season. In addition, the party paid a visit to the footballers’ association, found in one of the spaces at the bottom of the Carlos Tartiere.

This was Luis Rubiales’ first visit to Real Oviedo since becoming President in May.
