Real Oviedo midfielder, Javi Muñoz, appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón following today’s training session.
Ahead of the weekend’s clash against Osasuna, Muñoz declared that, “we have another opportunity to perform well. We are going into the game with hunger and we are working on correcting the errors.” In addition, regarding the fixture’s importance, he stated that, “we are approaching it like a final so that we can perform well and win.”
Asked what the team needs in order to get the three points, the midfielder believes that, “it’s the small details that are costing us points, and we are going to keep doing what the Coach asks of us. We are working to win the weekend’s match. We want to improve and be strong.”
With respect to the formation and his preferences, Javi Muñoz reasoned that, “us midfielders can adapt to any way of playing. The Coach is the one who decides, but I’m comfortable in any formation.”
Talking about the next opponent, Osasuna, Muñoz highlighted that, “it’s a good team, but we are going to do things well so that we can win. They’ve just won at home and they’ll come here for the win. We want to win and get the three points at our ground".
Finally, asked about the importance of returning to the Tartiere and the fans’ support, Javi Muñoz stated that, “they are going to back us. We know that, and we should match it by producing a good match and winning,” he concluded
