Real Oviedo defender, Juan Forlín, appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón following the morning training session.

Following the triumph over Albacete, the Argentinian admitted that “this week has been different. It hurts when you lose and everything becomes more difficult, but victories change your spirits.”

With respect to Sunday’s match at the Carlos Tartiere and the change in formation, Forlín highlighted that “we were comfortable. We wanted to redeem ourselves. We were intense, organised and strong. It was a good match. When you play with three at the back and two wing backs you need to help each other out. The team was good in general.” In addition, the defender stated that, “we are ready to adapt to any way of playing. The important thing is to be committed and work on what the Coach asks us to.”

Finally, ahead of Sunday’s match at the Wanda Metropolitano, the centre back commented that “we are preparing for the match and the Coach will see what’s best for Sunday. The main thing is to show up and be competitive. Sunday is no exception,” he concluded.
