Real Oviedo completed their final training session of the week this Friday at El Requexón before facing their first preseason match this Saturday at the Carlos Tartiere. The team, led by Julián Calero, will host Deportivo de La Coruña in a match that will mark the blue team's debut in front of their fans after several weeks of preparation.

The squad trained as usual in a session where the coaching staff finalized details ahead of the friendly. After several weeks of training and a first test away from Oviedo, the match against the Galician team will serve to continue accumulating minutes and assess the team's progress in a very special setting.

Calero will have all available players for this first match at the municipal stadium in Oviedo. The coach's intention is to distribute playing time among most of the players, continue giving game time to the new signings, and further integrate the academy players who are participating in the preseason with the first team.
