Real Oviedo was unable to earn any points during their visit to Sabadell and suffered a 3-1 defeat in a match where the blue team was far from their best form. The Catalan side dominated the game, controlled possession, and created the best chances for much of the match, securing a hard-fought victory.

The match quickly turned uphill for Juli谩n Calero's team. Sabadell found the first goal in the first half after capitalizing on a defensive lapse, which Gast贸n Vall茅s took advantage of to beat Aar贸n Escandell. Just a few minutes later, the hosts struck again from a set piece. A corner kick found 脫scar Sanz, who headed the ball into the net to make it 2-0.

Oviedo failed to respond before halftime and went into the locker room with a two-goal deficit after a first half in which they barely managed to threaten the opposing goal.

After the restart, the blue team stepped up their game. The introduction of Estanis, Goti, and Chris Ramos from the bench brought more offensive presence, and it was the Catalan attacker who managed to reduce the deficit. A great goal from the winger, who finished off a fine individual play to make it 2-1. Moments earlier, Pablo S谩enz had already come close with a powerful shot from the edge of the box that violently struck the woodwork.

With the scoreline tight, the Oviedo team pushed forward in search of an equalizer. However, Sabadell took advantage of the open spaces and found a third goal just as the blue team was pressing hardest. The 3-1 sealed the match and left the visitors unable to respond.

A tough defeat in Catalan territory. Now, Oviedo turns their attention to the next matchday. The team will face one of the most anticipated games of the season: the Asturian derby against Real Sporting de Gij贸n, which will take place at the Carlos Tartiere.
