El Anexo del Estadio de Gran Canaria today hosted the lunchtime clash between Las Palmas Atlético and Real Oviedo Vetusta, which ended in a 2-1 victory for the travelling Carbayones.
Los Azules, who travelled to the islands with the aim of prolonging the good form shown in the match against UP Langreo, came up against one of their fellow B teams in Grupo I of the Segunda División B. The hosts didn’t make things easy for Vetusta in the early stages. However, Real Oviedo’s B team came from behind to win 2-1, with goals from Samu Obeng and Rober Alarcón.
Following today’s win, Javi Rozada’s side are next in league action at 12:00 on Sunday, when they face Rayo Majadahonda at El Requexón.
