The Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere this morning hosted the presentation of the 'Trofeo ALSA', which is awarded to the Real Oviedo player to have run most kilometres over the course of the season. The prize was given to Yoel Bárcenas, who ran the furthest distance during the last campaign, at 348,270 metres.

The Panamanian was accompanied in the presentation by Luis Fernández, Manager of ALSA. The winger then spoke to the media gathered in the Press Room, saying that "I still have the whole season to at least reach last year's figure."

The winger then analysed the situation the team finds itself in at this early stage of the season, and spoke about his feelings ahead of the coming LaLiga fixtures. He highlighted that "we didn't want to start like this. I want to get 100% involved. It has done me good to go away with the national team and get minutes. Now I'm back and ready for whatever the Coach needs. I'm still not where I was last year; I'm at 80%. If the Coach decides to play me on Sunday then that will be great. I need minutes. I need matches and minutes to start feeling good."

Finally, asked whether he prefers to play up front or on the wing, Yoel stated that "I feel good up top too. In Mexico I tried it and I am used toit. The Coach will decide and I will go into it with complete willingness. I have to prepare very well. Running and responding is difficult, but this type of statistic comes up with the help of your teammates."
