Real Oviedo midfielder Sergio Tejera appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning, following the team's training session.

After last weekend's triumph in the Carlos Belmonte, Tejera admitted that "everything looks different after that victory, but we still are still hungry to get three points at home."

Real Oviedo will attempt to keep their good run going this Sunday against Girona. Speaking about the Catalan side, the midfielder stated that "they are a great team and they are going to be in the promotion battle, but we can compete with anybody. We are aware of their ability, but we are ready."

Regarding the work done since Javi Rozada's arrival, Tejera highlighted that "the Coach does a lot of work for the matches. We have to pick up concepts and have things clear for Sunday."

Asked about the demands in the middle of the park, the player said that "there is a lot of competition in midfield and everyone does their job well. There is healthy competition in the squad and hopefully it will improve our levels. The intensity is not going to drop."

Finally, regarding Joselu, Tejera commented that "he is training fantastically. He wanted to express himself and I think it's a good thing. He is doing great."
