Our player Saúl Berjón, one of the Real Oviedo first-team captains, showed his support for the participants in the Campeonato Nacional de Fútbol para Amputados, which took place this weekend at the Hermanos Llana facilities.
Saúl spent a good part of Sunday morning with the participants. After the official competition took place on Saturday, yesterday's events included physical activities and celebrations, all organised by Federación Española de Deportes de Personas con Discapacidad Física (Spanish Disabled Sports Federation). The purpose of this event was to teach society about this particular way of playing the sport and the great effort and hard work put in by the athletes that participate.
