Real Oviedo Head Coach Javi Rozada spoke to the Press today ahead of the Alcorcón clash at the Santo Domingo.
Following the arrival of Francesc Arnau as Director of Football, the Coach began by offering his feelings, stating that "I didn't know him personally, but we are excited.  Arnau is coming in to help and I think he has a good profile.  He's only been at two clubs, but for a long time, which tells us that he is a club man.  I hope he can help us.  It's going to be a difficult period and there will be some movement.  We've talked about the team, and the team for Alcorcón."
Providing an injury update ahead of tomorrow's match, Javi Rozada highlighted that "Saúl tested it on Monday, suffered pain and is now out. Joselu has a knock, and they are both in discomfort.  Joselu is making an effort to get back.  He's not right though.  We have to help him and get him back to his best."  In addition, with respect to Saúl, Javi Rozada said
that "we have to respect the issue.  He's annoyed and I don't want to talk about him.  He has a problem, but we know he is the captain and I hope he can get back as soon as possible.  We will do everything to get him back as soon as we can, but we won't set dates.  He's a symbol for us and gives us confidence."
Asked about the importance of last weekend's victory over Rayo and what it meant to the squad, the Oviedo-born coach admitted that "the atmosphere is more relaxed.  Winning always does you good.  We are confident, but we have to keep battling.  We have to take a step forward tomorrow.  It's the perfect match to look for consistency."
Finally, regarding the match in Alcorcón, Javi Rozada commented that "we are going to a difficult ground to face a team who compete with the best sides in the division.  We have to concentrate and be committed.  We want to compete very well tomorrow.  It will be a match where we have to be ourselves.  They are not going to change too much; they know what they have to do.  We have to start the match well and read the best way to play it."
