Real Oviedo players Javi Mier, Viti Rozada, Sara Bermell and Sara Ezquerro today visited the Asturias Penitentiary Centre. The visit, which forms part of the Real Oviedo Foundation's Sports Integration programme, allowed the footballers to get to see the centre's Therapeutic and Educational Unit. This area is where the Foundation gives different workshops, and inmates were able to chat and share an enriching experience with those present.
In addition, the players also visited Villabona Penitentiary Centre's football pitch. The Sports Integration programme seeks to improve the physical and psychological condition of inmates through sport, as well as promoting values such as companionship and teamwork through football.
The activity also saw the presence of other Real Oviedo staff, including Director for Institutional Relations César Martín, Head of the Community Area Miguel Sanz, and Club Ambassador Carlos Múñoz.
