O Couto provided the backdrop for the 22nd match of the season for Real Oviedo Vetusta, as they travelled to face Ourense CF this Sunday lunchtime. The B team would pick up a 2-1 away win.

For the match against the Galician side Jaime Álvarez opted for a starting eleven made up of Marco; Charbel, Lucas Laso, René, Omar Falah; Sesé, Yayo, Álex Cardero, Izan, Miguel Cuesta and Mario Fuente.

The B team got off to a very good start in the first half, going into the match with the intention to play in the opponent's half and dominate the play. The side had the better of the early chances, but it would be the hosts who opened the scoring. Having taken the lead, Ourense took a step forward and looked to make the most of their momentum following the goal. Izan was forced off through injury and replaced by Iván. The first half ended with Vetusta beginning to threaten again.

Jaime Álvarez brought on Enol at halftime as he looked for greater presence in the area, and little by little he found it. The side from the capital of Asturias started to make clear its intent to turn the match around. Santiago Román was next to enter the fray, just before Enol grabbed his first goal of the match. Following some fine build-up play, the striker beat the keeper with a powerful effort from the edge of the area. The B team did not settle for a draw, and Mario Fuente had another chance, but he hit the woodwork. Jaime Álvarez turned to Adrián and Nacho to freshen up his team, just before Enol scored what would prove to be the winning goal from the penalty spot. The final minutes of the encounter were played at a high tempo as the Galicians sought to regain parity, but Vetusta remained solid in defence.

These were three important points for Real Oviedo Vetusta as they got back to winning ways and recovered the good feeling around the team. They will face Real Avilés at El Requexón next time out.
