Real Oviedo wanted to join the national mourning being held by national institutions to honour the victims of COVID19, as well as sending a message of strength and encouragement to their families and friends.
The first team's training session at El Requexón stopped at 12:00, with players and coaching staff paying homage to the victims.  The minute's silence ended with moving applause for those to have lost their lives to the virus.  At the same time, the employees working in the offices at the Carlos Tartiere paused their work to take part in the same minute's silence.
It was a mark of respect with which Real Oviedo aimed to remember all those who have lost their lives to this pandemic.  May they rest in peace.
