2021 will go down in history as the year that Real Oviedo got its Foundation up and running. The curtain has been raised with a huge number of social activities to collaborate with and to provide for those sectors of our society in greatest need. This will culminate at the start of next year with the act of inauguration of the Foundation, which will serve to show Oviedistas and the general public one of our most exciting projects in recent years.

The presentation will take place on Thursday 13th January if the sanitary conditions permit it and will serve as a multidisciplinary event to bring together all of the components which make up the Real Oviedo Foundation.

These components range from Real Oviedo Genuine and Escuela de Fútbol Real Oviedo for Functional Diversity to the Club History Board, while also including the Intervention Programme at the Asturias Correctional Centre, sports activities in different schools in the city to support socialisation, and the highly-successful Escuela de Fútbol Real Oviedo, among many others.

The presentation will mark another step in the Real Oviedo Foundation project, which was registered in the BOE in September 2020. The club wanted to present the range of activities established in its constitution once they were underway. The activities are ones with which the club hopes to share the integral values of football, ones which are exemplified in our club, with society at large, as well as conserving and spreading the history of Real Oviedo, a club which will turn 96 in 2022.
