The first round of LaLigaGenuineSantander took place this weekend in Tarragona. Real Oviedo was one of 30 clubs to participate.

‘Los Azules’ travelled to Catalonia on Friday morning with excitement and responsibility, and aware of the importance of enjoying the moment. Real Oviedo were placed in a group with Levante and Mallorca, and also played a friendly against Atlético de Madrid. They ended the competition with a victory and two draws, becoming group winners in the process.

The first round of results for ‘Los Carbayones’ were as follows:

Real Oviedo 2 - 2 RCD Mallorca

Fundación Atlético de Madrid 0 - 0 Real Oviedo

Levante UD EDI 0 - 3 Real Oviedo

Real Oviedo Genuine will continue to train as they prepare for their next official participation. They will travel to Córdoba in January as the competition continues.
