Francesc Arnau was presented as the new Real Oviedo Director of Football this lunchtime. He was accompanied by Club President Jorge Menéndez Vallina, while Federico González, César Martín and David Mata were all also in attendance. Arnau gave a summary of his initial contact with the club, the reasons he agreed to sign up, and the situation he has found upon his arrival at the club.
Arnau spent more than twenty-five minutes responding to all of the questions from the journalists in attendance. He began by expressing his gratitude to Arturo Elías, the full Board of Directors, Federico González, César Martín and David Mata for the trust they have placed in him, and for the support they have given him since his first day at the club.
