Real Oviedo Head Coach Javi Rozada today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
Having picked up two consecutive wins, the Coach stated that "we are doing well. We have everybody available, except Saúl (Berjón). We are excited to try to beat the leaders. We'll have to produce a perfect match to get three points. Victories strengthen you and help the dynamic. The team has trained well and is aware of what it needs to do to win on Sunday. They know the recipe to getting the three points."
Real Oviedo face Cádiz this Sunday at the Carlos Tartiere. Regarding the planning he has done for the match, Javi Rozada highlighted that "we'll do our game plan tomorrow. If there are changes then it will be because there are players with knocks who wouldn't be at 100%. Cádiz is a different team to Rayo or Zaragoza and they compete well. They usually subdue you and make you believe that you can have the match controlled. They have players you have to keep an eye on and are doing things very well. We have to have clear ideas and not confuse ourselves."
Asked about the state of the pitch, Rozada said that "the pitch isn't great, but it's the same one it always is. The club is trying to improve it. It's not an excuse and it won't be. We have to face each match as it comes, putting wins together. The people working on it are performing as best they can. They will do work on it during the winter break."
With regard to the matches left in the run-up to the winter break, the Oviedo-born coach said that "it's important to get as many points as we can. We have two cup finals to go and we have to go into them with commitment and intensity. We are going to face a team which does things perfectly, and we will have to play very well."
Finally, regarding whether he would use the same starting eleven as in Alcorcón, the Coach reasoned that "we don't have a set eleven. There are a lot of players knocking on the door. I can't say that I'm going to choose the same eleven, but I have faith in my players."
