We have helped, we have supported, and now is the time to CARE for our own this Christmas. We are reaching the end of a long, hard, sad path, which has cost us a lot of lives and loved ones. We have suffered and are
suffering, not only the health consequences of a worldwide pandemic, but also the resulting economic and social impact.
Throughout the course of all these months we have lived lives full of responsibility, common sense and empathy, but we have rarely stopped to think about generosity. Generosity is a crucial word in the battle against the virus, because this fight is not just about caring for yourself. A single gesture looking out for others, working as a team, is all it takes to stand up to the virus.
'The Oviedistas are caring for #LosNuestros (Our Own) this Christmas' is the title of the third project we have designed. This one has a clear objective: to remind everybody that the use of the mask and our generosity, even in the family environment, saves lives. With the holidays on the horizon, loved ones arriving home, and the need to maintain old traditions, meet up and celebrate, there is a risk of an increase in relaxation and a loss of social distancing habits.
Our players are fully aware of the importance of teamwork in order to achieve victories. They have today made clear that if one person slips up we all do, and that this Christmas we all have to give up a lot of things that we are used to, in order to all be able to enjoy the Christmases that are yet to come.
Not only for you, but for everyone close to you, the Oviedistas are caring for #LosNuestros this Christmas.
