'Real Oviedo Genuine, una historia con orgullo, valor y garra' is the title of the new must-have book for all Oviedistas' collections. This is a text which transcends the pages of the book, and which tells the story of our Genuine side. It provides a guide to the team, right from the creation of the project up until the most recent social activities it has taken part in.
The publication, which was produced in collaboration with Fundación LaLiga, explains the competitive aspect of our Genuine side, how it was created, and its objectives. It seeks to make people aware of such an important project as LaLiga Genuine, which our players are fully involved with. Inside the book we can find stories which go beyond footballing tales, in which inclusion and socialisation reign supreme, and which demonstrate how football has enabled the creation of a group of true friends, all with similar worries and concerns.
The book, edited by Real Oviedo, was created by Carlos García Junco, Coach of our Genuine side, while the prologue was written by Club President Jorge Menéndez Vallina.
The book's presentation will take place this Wednesday in the Press Room at the NMR Carlos Tartiere. The book will be available in the official Real Oviedo club shops for 12 euros from this week. The funds raised through sales will go towards the growth of the Genuine side and projects which favour social inclusion.
