Joselu, a new Real Oviedo player

The forward, who is coming from Granada, has signed for the next four seasons and will start training this Wednesday

Real Oviedo have come to an agreement to obtain the services of forward José Luis Moreno Barroso, “Joselu” for the next four seasons.

The 27-year-old player was born in Cartaya on March 3, 1991. He was trained in Villarreal’s youth academy, and with this team he was able to receive playing time in the Champions League. The Huelva-born player has extensive experience in Spanish football after his time with Córdoba CF, Recreativo de Huelva, RCD Mallorca, CD Lugo, and Granada CF, the team which he is coming from this season, where he accumulated a total of 2,418 minutes and 9 goals. During his season in Galicia two years ago, the striker scored a total of 23 goals, making him the top scorer in LaLiga 1|2|3.

Joselu is a forward that is known for his speed, skill, great goal-scoring potential in the penalty area, and good finishing ability.

After going through a medical examination at Clínica Asturias, the player will start training this Wednesday under the direction of Juan Antonio Anquela.
