Real Oviedo player Javi Mier took part in a pleasant event with pupils from Colegio Pablo Miaja in Oviedo yesterday, as part of the 'Connecting the Future Fan' initiative, which is being promoted by the LaLiga Foundation. The event had the aims of encouraging positives values in sport, while also making the youngsters aware of the importance of continuing to protect ourselves against COVID19, with the pandemic still yet to end.
The academy product spoke to different classes from the school online, live from the Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere. He offered the children advice, responded to their questions, and gave his view on what we have all lived through in recent months from his position as a professional sportsman.
This was a pleasant experience to enable our club to stay close to some of our young fans.
