Jaime Álvarez Named the New Real Oviedo Vetusta Head Coach

The local lad returns home, and will work alongside Andrés Vallina, Mauro de Ves and Jorge Tejada

Real Oviedo has reached an agreement for Jaime Álvarez to become the new Real Oviedo Vetusta Head Coach. He has signed a one-year contract, with the option of another year upon the completion of objectives.
Jaime Álvarez Díaz is 35 years old and was born in Oviedo on 4th February 1986. He came through the youth teams at Real Oviedo, representing the first team between 2007 and 2009. Jaime Álvarez is now returning home, where he will bring experience and hard work to the young players, who are currently in the development stage. He worked for CD Covadonga in the 2020/2021 season, where he faced Real Oviedo Vetusta, and he achieved promotion to the División de Honor with CD Covadonga's Juvenil side.
Jaime Álvarez will work alongside his assistant Andrés Vallina, Goalkeeper Coach Mauro de Ves, and Fitness Coach Jorge Tejada.
The Real Oviedo B team will begin training on 12th July, when Jaime Álvarez will make his first comments as Real Oviedo Vetusta Head Coach.
