This lunchtime saw the contract tying Asturian company Integra Energía to Real Oviedo signed and extended by a further three seasons.
The presentation of the agreement was attended by Club Vice President Manuel Paredes, along with Director Fernando Corral. They were joined by Integra Energía's Managing Director Francisco Fernández and Head of Marketing David López, along with Real Oviedo goalkeeper Joan Femenías, who was named the 'Integra' Man of the Match on Sunday.
After signing the new deal, Manuel Paredes thanked the Asturian company for its crucial support in recent seasons, and declared his happiness at the ties being renewed for the coming seasons. David López, meanwhile, stated his pride at having worked and grown alongside Real Oviedo in recent seasons, as well as his excitement at continuing to be a key part in all areas of the club, ranging from the first team to the academy and the Foundation.
In addition, Joan Femenías responded to the questions put to him by the gathered media, saying that "it's been a positive start, even though we are still getting to know each other. You can see that the team can still improve. We have to keep working in order to get more victories." He also stated that he was "delighted" to be competing with Tomeu Nadal, who comes from the same home town, for a place in the team. Femenías said that "I hope it's a good year for both of us and for the team."
