Real Oviedo Soccer School's new team will play its first competitive match at El Naranco this Saturday, with the side full of hunger and excitement. The team has the aims of developing players and bringing our youth-team methodology to players from within Spain and from other countries.
The side, which will face Centro Asturiano this weekend, is made up of a group of players from the academies with which Real Oviedo has signed agreements in recent months, and which offer technique and methodology sessions designed by the club.
The team will be coached by Gerardo Fraile, who will be assisted by Dani Acebal and Miguel Romero. The twenty-man squad will implement tactical and technical concepts to continue their footballing growth. They will also enjoy a unique cultural experience, as they share moments with teammates from all around the world.
Footballers from the USA, Chile, Japan, China, Peru, and Nigeria, as well as different regions in Spain, will represent the club in the regional division, with Centro Asturiano v Escuela de Fútbol Real Oviedo the first stop on this exciting journey.
