The Real Oviedo coach assessed in the press room the situations that cost the team the defeat. "With quite a bit of sadness because we were playing a good match, competing equally, and the mistakes condemned us in places where we couldn't make them, because the players we were facing were not going to forgive us. Unfortunately, it ended up costing us the game."

Asked if it was more frustrating to lose like this, with the game plan executed perfectly up to that point, Guillermo Almada admitted that "we contributed to the opportunities they had, and they didn't forgive us. We had talked about it, worked on it on the field." Regarding defensive solidity, the Uruguayan coach stated that "we have had solidity, but we have also had individual mistakes. There is no collective work you can do to try to neutralize that. I don't recall situations in the first half, and in the second half, they had a few more because we took more risks."

Regarding the distance from the safety zone and how the team is facing that situation, the coach insisted that "we have to fight until the end. We analyzed the last four matches with the players, and we deserved a different result. The upcoming match, which we play at home, we have to try to achieve a victory that propels us, whether we play well, average, or poorly. It is an extremely important match for us," he concluded.

Finally, when asked for a message to the fans, "we are doing everything we can to get out of this situation together with the players. The way forward is to play like we did in the first half and overcome the unforeseen challenges we must face. We lacked finishing and avoiding those mistakes. We need to try to win by any means to give our people what they deserve, which is to win."
