Following the earthquake which devastated Mexico last week, Real Oviedo has once again shown its supportive side, through an initiative to work with those affected by the catastrophe. As had been announced in the hours
leading up to the match against Albacete, Real Oviedo wore a special shirt at the Carlos Belmonte carrying the message “Albacete - Real Oviedo. 24 de septiembre. ¡FUERZA MÉXICO!" (Albacete – Real Oviedo. 24th September. STRENGTH TO MEXICO). The shirts worn by the first team players in Albacete are available on eBay.
The shirts used by those players who took part in the match, as well as the substitutes, are available on eBay so that anybody who wishes to help those affected by the earthquake can do so. The auction will last one week, ending next Tuesday. The links are HERE.
