Real Oviedo midfielder, Ramon Folch, appeared in the Press Room following the latest training session, as the team steps up its preparations for the match against Zaragoza.

Regarding Real Oviedo’s match against Zaragoza on Monday, the Catalan said that “we are looking forward to the match. We couldn’t win in Albacete and now we want to play and reclaim the good feelings we had before we went there. Zaragoza have a great team and it will be difficult. We must fight to the death to win the three points.” With respect to Monday’s opponent, Ramon Folch stated that, “I don’t know Zaragoza, but I do know Nacho. He competes well and gets the most out of his players. They are solid in defence and it will be difficult. It’s quite a young team and they made some good signings. I think they’re on the right track. They don’t have as many points as they would wish but they are playing well. The main problem is Borja, he is in great form. He is a tricky player who has a goal in him.”

Asked about his presence as a regular starter every week, the Catalan pointed out that, “it’s hard work to get into the team each week. I am happy with my contribution to the team and that the Coach has faith in me. He asks me to bring balance to the play, and that I bring the ball out. I want to do it the best I can.”

Talking about the room for improvement that the team has, and what they should focus on to achieve it, Ramon Folch believes that, “we are a newn group, and little by little we must come closer together. We must minimise our errors and keep going as we are. We have taken the lead in three matches and they’ve equalised straight after. We must analyse it and ensure that it doesn’t happen again.”

Finally, with regard to Real Oviedo’s schedule in the coming weeks, with 4 matches in 12 days, the Carbayón midfielder said that, “we are playing a lot of games in a short period, and we hope that we can get people back fit, to compete and go for the victories.”
