Real Oviedo and Goretti Neira have reached an agreement to renew the footballer's contract, ensuring she remains part of the blue discipline during her recovery process.

Neira joined Real Oviedo Femenino this summer from Real Avilés to strengthen the left flank. She has now suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, which required surgery. It is a tough blow both personally and athletically, but it has not altered the mutual commitment between the player and the Carbayona entity.

The left-back's contract was set to expire on June 30. With this renewal, she will face her recovery as an active part of the team, supported at all times by the medical and technical staff.
