Real Oviedo returns to the path of victory. The Blues convincingly defeated Real Valladolid (0-3) at the José Zorrilla in a match that started evenly but ended clearly in Oviedo's favor thanks to three goals scored by Carlos Domínguez, Dani Calvo, and Pablo Sáenz.

Aarón Escandell; Aisar, Dani Calvo, Carlos Domínguez, Juan Cruz; Villahermosa, Reina, Youness; Pablo Sáenz, Goti, and Isfan. That was Real Oviedo's starting lineup in Valladolid. After a goalless draw against Burgos at the Carlos Tartiere, the Carbayón team faced the match in Valladolid with the need to get back to winning ways. And they did so by showing personality, solidity, and remarkable efficiency in the decisive moments.

Oviedo struck first. The first half was fairly balanced, although the clearest chances were in blue. One of the best opportunities came after a long pass from Aarón Escandell. Isfan battled with the defender, gained position, and found himself one-on-one with Aceves. The forward aimed for a left-footed shot, but the Valladolid goalkeeper responded with a great save to deflect the ball for a corner.

Shortly after, it was Pablo Sáenz who tried his luck from a distance. The winger noticed Aceves was off his line and attempted to surprise him with a long-range shot that went just wide of the left post.

Oviedo was gaining momentum and found the reward for their persistence before halftime. From a corner kick, Carlos Domínguez capitalized on a loose ball after a poor clearance to send it into the back of the net and make it 0-1 on the scoreboard. The Blues went into the break ahead after a solid first half in which they created the most dangerous opportunities.

After the break, the team from the capital of the Principality stuck to their game plan. Enzo came on for Reina, and the Carbayón team, far from settling for the narrow lead, came out determined to find a second goal and eventually did so with a stunning strike.

A loose ball fell at the edge of the box, and Dani Calvo stepped up to deliver a beautiful shot from outside the area. The center-back placed the ball perfectly into the bottom corner, leaving Aceves with no chance to intervene. A spectacular goal and 0-2.

And there was barely time to process the second goal before the third arrived. Pablo Sáenz also wanted to leave his mark on a memorable afternoon. The winger executed a brilliant individual move, found space at the edge of the box, and unleashed an unstoppable strike. Another stunning goal to make it 0-3 and seal Oviedo's victory.

With the lead secured, the Blues managed the game comfortably. Estanis, Jacobo, David Jiménez, and Dieguito also got minutes, and Real Oviedo sealed a convincing and resounding victory at the José Zorrilla. Three goals, three points, and, most importantly, the response the team was looking for after the draw against Burgos.
