Real Oviedo Salus Campus Grows in Number and Outreach

With a presence in 21 bases and a total of 26 campuses, Real Oviedo exports its training model to the world

Real Oviedo Salus Campus celebrates its 19th year, further cementing its place as a midsummer tradition in Asturias and on an international level. Organised by Real Oviedo with the backing from Salus Seguros de Salud as the main sponsor, the campus will run from the last week of June until August, and is aimed at boys and girls ages 5 and up.

Participants, in addition to being able to work on improving their football skills, will also learn more about values such as team spirit, tolerance, respect, hard work, and sportsmanship. Learning these skills will promote integral personal development. This was emphasised during the presentation by César Martín, Director of Real Oviedo Foundation, Pablo Valcárcel, Director of Escuela Real Oviedo, and Natalia Falcó, director of Marketing and Communication.

Focused on boys and girls ages 5 and up, the campus won’t just focus on improving football abilities, but it will also focus on promoting values such as teamwork, respect, education, friendship, and hard work. This will be a complete sports experience where the young players can also be identified as potential new talent for the club’s academy.

With more than 10,000 boys and girls having already participated, Real Oviedo campus is an example in the development of sports and humanity, both in the national and international spheres.
