Real Oviedo defender David Costas appeared before the media this morning at El Requexón. Los Azules today began preparations for Sunday's match, following on from the weekend's important victory against SD Eibar. "We haven't lost for two and a bit months now and that is something difficult to achieve. We have to keep competing, try to put together a run of wins, and keep pushing forward."
"It wasn't the best start, but we are turning it round. I hope we can keep going like this and achieve something nice this year."
The Asturians will be up against Mirandés this Sunday and the team is going into it with the clear objective of picking up another win. "Today is the first day of the week. We have to iron out the errors from the other day. Tomorrow we will start preparing for the match against Mirandés. It's a tough opponent and you don't know which way it will go."
The defender also stated that "we are playing the football that I like. It has been a good period for everyone and I am very happy to be here. We are going to take it little by little. We know how the Segunda División is; there are always surprises. We have a team and a squad to compete with anyone."
