The fourth annual edition of the Copa Integra Energía was held this weekend and featured a large number of sides from around the country, with the Tensi training facilities and the Municipal Sergio Sánchez in El Berrón hosting the fixtures.
Deportivo Alavés, Real Valladolid, Cultural Leonesa, Deportivo de la Coruña, Real Sociedad, and the Escuela de Fútbol of the Spanish Football Federation all participated alongside a good number of Asturian sides, headed by Real Oviedo and Sporting de Gijón.  The matches took place nbetween 26th December and today (Sunday 29th December), as the winners were decided for the three age groups taking part in the tournament.
The Benjamín age group saw Cultural Leonesa triumph over Sporting de Gijón to lift the trophy.  Los Azules were eliminated in the semifinal, falling to a penalty shootout defeat to the eventual winners.
The Alevín category was dominated by Real Oviedo, who won the title in both the gold and silver divisions.  The Alevín B side were victorious against CD Covadonga, before beating Juventud Estadio 1-0 in the final.  Meanwhile, Alevín A produced a great tournament performance, beating Real Valladolid and Sporting de Gijón on their way to a final which would see them defeat the Escuela de Fútbol of the Spanish Football Federation.
The Copa Integra Energía is one of the most highly-regarded Christmas tournaments.  It was born from a collaboration between Real Oviedo and Integra Energía, who, along with CF Berrón, have enabled this tournament to take place for the fourth consecutive year.
