Real Oviedo full back Juanjo Nieto today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
Following the first training session after the winter break, the defender admitted that "some rest has done us good. We have had a week to recharge our batteries and we are hungry. We've spent time with our families and friends. Now it's time to think about Málaga and getting back to reality."
Regarding Sunday's match against the Andalusian side, Juanjo commented that "we are starting the second half of the season; the good part. They are all important matches where you have to get points. We face a direct rival this weekend, but with the help of our fans we will fight for the win." In addition, with respect to Málaga's situation, the right back said that "I have no idea what's going on there. We are focusing on ourselves. We want to work and get the three points. What is happening there has nothing to do with us."
Finally, with respect to what the team needs to improve on during thesecond half of the season, Juanjo highlighted that "we've got points away from home, but we need to get more at the Carlos Tartiere. That's the key. When we work and get the best out of each player we are a good team. We will try to be at our best to get good results."
